Junior Golf Tour
2006 Entry and Event Rules
RULES OF PLAY
Specific rules of play will be announced
at each event. U.S.G.A. and local rules will
apply. Players are responsible for the accuracy
of their scorecard.
Ages 14 and older will play from the white
or blue tee markers depending on course length.
Ages 8-13 will play
from red or white tees. Girls will play from red tees.
All events are 18 holes
except ages 8-11 play 9 holes (18 holes for ages 8-11 over 2 days). The championship
is 54 holes for ages 12-17 and he girls division (there will
be a cut after two days if there are more
than 72 players combined in all age groups).
Tee times will be assigned and will begin
at approximately 8:00 at all events. The older age divisions
will tee off first. The first round of the
championship will begin at 8:00.
No caddies or motorized carts are allowed
except during the match play tournament. Absolutely
no advice is allowed after a junior’s
round has started. Subject to disqualification.
Parents may walk along, but may not communicate
with the juniors as they play. Juniors are
responsible for keeping score without adult
assistance.
Juniors must wear appropriate golf attire
– collared shirts, dress shorts or slacks.
Non-metal spikes must be worn. Absolutely
no jeans or jeans shorts.
DIVISIONS
Ages 8-11 Ages 12-13 Ages 14-15 Ages 16-17,
(18 if MHSAA eligible for the 2005-06 year), a Girls Division,
and an open division - high
school graduates age 19 and younger.
A Juniors age as of 8/7/06 will determine
which division junior will compete in for
all events.
ENTRY FEES
$20.00 for each qualifier ($15.00 ages 10-11)
and $40.00 for the Championship ($25.00 ages
10-11). Players eligible for day three of
the championship will not have to pay an additional
entry fee. An annual tour administration fee
of $15.00 must also be paid. Entry fees and
administration fee must be paid in full no
later than 5 days prior to each event. Refunds
will not be given after 2 days prior to each
event. Late registrations will be assessed
a $5.00 late fee. Late entries are not guaranteed
registration if an event is full.
Range balls, lunch and practice rounds will
be available but are not included in the entry
fees. Please call the event sites to arrange
practice rounds.

LARRY KWOLEK CHAMPIONSHIP
The amount of points a Junior earns will
determine if an invitation to the Championship
will be extended. Juniors earn points based
on how they finish in each event. Please see
attached points sheet. An event winner will
automatically be extended a championship invitation.
BILL TILTON PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD
Juniors in each age group will earn points
towards the Player Of The Year Award. The
Bill Tilton Player Of the Year trophy will
be awarded. Points can be earned based on
the attached points sheet.
