2010 Entry & Event Rules

Rules of Play
Specific rules of play will be announced at each event.  USGA and local rules will apply.  Players are responsible for the accuracy of
their scorecard.  A 2 hour and 15 minute per 9 hole pace of play will also be strictly     enforced.  You may be asked to pick up your
ball and move forward to correct the situation.

Ages 14 and older will play from the white or blue tee markers depending on course length.  Ages 10-13 will play from the red or white
tees.  Ages 8-9 and the girls division will play from the forward tees.  All events are 18 holes except for ages 8-11 who play 9 holes.
The championship is 36 holes for all age groups except for ages 8-11 who play 9 holes each day.

Tee times will be assigned and will begin approximately between 7:45-8:30am at all events.  The older divisions will tee off first.  The
first and second rounds of the championship will be a shotgun start.

No caddies are allowed except during the match play tournament.  Power carts are not allowed.  Absolutely no advice is allowed
after a junior’s round has started.  You will be subject to  disqualification.

Parents may walk along, but may not communicate with the juniors as they play.  Juniors are responsible for keeping score without adult
assistance.
GPS and Range Finders are allowed during junior tour events.
Juniors must wear appropriate golf attire: collard shirts, dress shorts or slacks.  Non-metal spikes must be worn.  Absolutely no jeans or
jean shorts.

Divisions
A High School Girl’s Division and the following boy’s divisions-ages 8-11, 12-13, 14-15, ages 16-17 (18 if MHSAA eligible).  An open
division for high school graduates age 18-19.  A Junior’s age as of 8/1/10 will determine which division junior will compete in for all
events.  If there is more interest for a younger girls division we will make one  available.

Entry Fees
The range of events fees will be $25 for each non-Championship event ($15 ages 8-11) and $40 for the Championship ($25 ages 8-11).
An annual tour administration fee of $25 must also be paid.  Entry fees must be paid in full no later than 5 days prior to each event.
Late entries are not guaranteed registration if an event is full.  Events are  limited to the first 80 paid entries (60 paid entries for the
championship). Cancellations less than 24 hours before an event or no shows will not be given a refund.

Range balls, lunch and practice rounds may be available, but are not included in the entry fees.  Please call the event sites to arrange
practice rounds.
Championship

Match Play
Open to ages 14-15 and 16-17 year old age groups by invitation only (based on points). Defending champions and weekly event winners automatically
